If listeners could take away only one lesson of this album, what would it be?

"I wrote this album on my way to rock bottom and back, I talk about the struggles but that doesnt mean there was no love because funny enough I felt it more when I was down there. I want people to know that you create the happiness, you choose the joy regardless of your surroundings. And while i went through alot of things I also had to remind myself that am tough enough to beat this."

Which song was the hardest to write and what made it so challenging?

"They are actually two that I had trouble writing

The first one was "Grace" simply because I was writing while crying and feeding my son - hahaha so imagine that.

The 2nd one was "Balidawa" with everything thats been going on since 2021 to now, the political environment is very foggy and dangerous so it was hard coming up with the right lyrics, that wouldn't get me into trouble but still being able to deliver the message."

What was your inspiration behind this album?

"The inspiration for this album stems from my struggles as a person, as a man and as a ghetto youth, as a man you have to decide you have got to take steps and make decisions that benefit you, you cant sit around and expect handouts its just not."

What inspired the title of this album?

"The title "I Decided/Nasalawo" is elf explanatory, my family especially the extended family always had a problem accepting that I do music and they went as far as asking my siblings or my parents abt it, and thats only because they didnt see the talent or the gift I posses rather they saw another young man taking the wrong path, and for this Album title I simply made the decision to do music unapologetically. Being young you always want to listen to your elders but honestly not every elder makes sense."
